disynet GmbH is pleased to present the µTEDS, one of the most compact TEDS reading and writing devices in the world. This innovative device revolutionizes the way technical data is stored and retrieved in sensors.

TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) are integrated memory chips that contain specific technical information from sensors. TEDS-compatible data acquisition systems can read this data and automatically adapt to the respective sensors. This enables precise adjustment of the gain to the sensitivity of the sensor and ensures efficient identification and allocation in applications with a large number of sensors, such as crash tests or body measurements on large surfaces.

Traditionally, TEDS recorders are large and unwieldy, making them difficult to use. With the µTEDS, disynet GmbH has developed a handy device in USB stick format that impresses with its plug & play function and ease of use. Depending on the sensor type, users can choose between a tri-axial and a single-axial version, which increases flexibility and application possibilities.

The µTEDS currently supports TEDS templates 0 and 1 of version 0.9 as well as templates 25 and 33 of version 1.0. Templates 12 and 24 will be added in the near future to further expand the functionality.
