Dear Mister/Miss ,

Preparations for SENSOR+TEST 2027 are already in full swing.
Mark your calender for the 11 – 13 May 2027.

In addition to an extensive exhibition featuring numerous highlights, the accompanying SMSI – Sensor Measurement Science International conference awaits you in 2027.

The world’s leading trade fair for sensor, measurement, and testing technology is the industry’s premier gathering and a must-attend event on many developers’ calendars. A trade fair by developers, for developers - practical and technologically diverse.

We’ve planned new formats to foster dialogue among participants. Stay tuned - you’ll learn more soon.

With best wishes from your SENSOR+TEST team

AMS 6836 – Tiny Pressure Sensor With Analog Voltage Output In A DIP-06 Package

The new AMS 6832 pressure sensor series from the manufacturer Analog Microelectronics offers high-precision pressure measurements in an ultra-compact DIP-06 package (11 x 7.6 x 7.2 mm^3). As the small, cost-effective variant of AMS 6832, AMS 6836 was developed for miniaturizing pressure sensing and control units and has an entirely analog, ratiometric 0.5 to 4.5 V voltage output with 16-bit resolution at a supply voltage of 5 V.
The AMS 6836 series is compliant to RoHS and REACH and…

Pressure sensor for ultra-high pressure applications

For ultra-high-pressure applications, a novel pressure sensor is being developed without a conventional diaphragm. While traditional pressure sensors use a diaphragm to increase sensitivity, this element is deliberately omitted at very high pressures. This results in a significantly more compact and robust sensor design, specifically intended for extreme pressure ranges. The developed technology platform offers…

Modal Shaker (MS)

Modal shakers are used to study the vibration behaviour of structures. No specimen is mounted on these shakers. These shakers are attached to the structure with a stinger and the force is transferred from the shaker to the structure via this stinger. The structure under test and/or the modal shaker can be suspended during the test using components such as…

The BGE16wd Miniature Encoder sets New Standards for Robust Precision Applications in Harsh Operating Environments

The BGE16wd miniature encoder is one of the most advanced solutions for harsh control panel environments where precision and durability are top priorities. Thanks to its slide bearing and HALL sensor-based rotation detection, it operates wear-free and demonstrates exceptional durability even under high mechanical stress. The BGE16wd has recently been upgraded to IP65 protection, providing optimal protection against dust and water jets—a decisive advantage for applications in…

Simple and cost-effective solution for preventive maintenance of wind turbines and railway axles

The monitoring and maintenance of wind turbines, especially in the offshore sector, is often challenging and cost-intensive. With an average of only one to two inspections per year, conventional maintenance methods are often insufficient to detect mechanical damage at an early stage and avoid expensive failures.
This is where the innovative WearDetect solution comes in: The proven Oil Debris Sensors enable…
